Born in the Sunshine State but raised in Canberra, I was happy to move to the Sunshine Coast in 1999 and finish my degree in Business at the Sunshine Coast University. After completing my CPA qualification I founded Asset Accounting from home in Currimundi before moving into our current premises in Dicky Beach.


I have been told that I have a knack for explaining accounting and tax issues in a way that the layman can understand; I think that it is just that I take the time to make sure people do understand exactly what is going on. I have a passion for business structuring and Self Managed Super Funds and get the most job satisfaction when a client is reaching their goals in the most efficient way.


Away from work, I like to spend time with my family at the beach or camping. I also sing and play guitar and follow the Canberra Raiders in the NRL.

I am a CPA qualified accountant with over 20 year experience in providing accounting, management and taxation advice to small and business. I starting my career in one of the big four firms, Coopers and Lybrand as a specialist advisor in there taxation division. These were the days of corporate libraries – there was no internet – and I spent countless hours with my head in "big books" researching case law. At the same time I was also planning an adventure with a rock band called the Aadvarks. Having tasted the success of winning the Queensland Rock Awards I felt sure we were on track to becoming the next INXS. So having spent 4 years with Coopers I moved to Sydney to pursue my rock star ambitions. Sadly I admit the move to Sydney did not launch me to fame and fortune but I did get to tour up and down the east coast with some of great Aussie bands of their time. I returned to Brisbane and commenced work with a smaller city based chartered accounting firm, Steinhardt and Company. To my surprise I found I really enjoyed working within a smaller firm environment and gained invaluable experience in managing the accounting and taxation needs of a wide variety of clients. In particular I enjoyed the one to one client contact. Becoming an integral part of a clients business, I gained job satisfaction from contributing to business growth and success. After having spent 11 years with Steinhardt and Company my wife and I moved to the Sunshine Coast. We had decided the time was right to start a family and thought the coast lifestyle provide the perfect environment to raise a young family.

I moved to the Sunshine coast 10 years ago from Canberra. I enjoy surfing, scuba diving, kite surfing and just hanging out at the skate ramp. I have 2 daughters who keep me busy and a husband who drives me insane. I look after all the ASIC corporate affairs.

Being in the accounting industry in my administration role since 2021 has allowed me to grasp an understanding of the complexed world and language of accounting. Studied and completed a Diploma of Business and Certificate IV in Crime and Justice studies compliments my skill set used to take care of our clients (“The Asset Community”). 

 

When I am not in the office I am on the beach. If you are taking a stroll along the sand at Dicky Beach on a weekend you most likely will see me in my lifesaving uniform, trainer uniform or running with my kelpie, Beau. Starting as a little nipper in 2009, I am a proud active member of the Dicky Beach Surf Lifesaving Club.

I completed my Bachelor of Commerce, with a double major in accounting and financial planning, at the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2014. Upon graduation I was awarded with the Faculty Medal of Business for my high level of achievement in the School of Business. I started working at Asset Accountants & Advisers while completing my final year of study.


At home (and on my lunch breaks) I can often be found reading and especially enjoy fantasy adventure stories. I also enjoy gaming, and have even been to the OPL finals in Melbourne for LoL with my partner and friends, and in true e-girl spirit you can usually see me with bold hair colours. I love cooking and baking – I'm the go to in the family for birthday cakes. I adore my two miniature dachshunds and love watching them play and run around in the backyard.

With over four decades of calling the Sunshine Coast home, I've cultivated a deep-rooted connection to this beautiful region that shines through in all aspects of my life. Holding a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of the Sunshine Coast, I find immense joy in assisting clients to navigate their tax responsibilities with ease and confidence. Outside the realm of finance, I enjoy leisurely strolls along the coast and creating treasured moments with my family.

A proud Pelican Waters local for over 25 years, I am a seasoned bookkeeper with over 35 years of experience in Australia’s dynamic financial landscape. Specialising in small to medium-sized enterprises, I bring a wealth of expertise in financial record-keeping and payroll management.


I have had extensive experience in hospitality and construction businesses.


Outside of my professional life, I am a passionate foodie who loves exploring new culinary experiences. I enjoy hiking through picturesque landscapes and unwinding with a glass of fine wine. Known for my integrity, reliability, and personalised approach, I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve financial clarity and success.

I have had the privilege of calling the Sunshine Coast home for the past 25 years where I have raised 3 beautiful daughters with my childhood sweetheart. I treasure the coastal lifestyle and love to spend time with family and friends enjoying the simple pleasures that life has to offer.


With over twenty years in business, complemented by a Diploma of Accounting from Monarch Institute, my journey has woven a tapestry of skills ranging from financial management to customer service, sales and marketing to project and event management. I've even delved into the complexities of import/export and nurtured the growth of both products and businesses.


These experiences aren't just items on my professional checklist; they've shaped me deeply, offering insights into the subtle intricacies that spell success in the ever-changing realm of business.
